Nobuka Kojima

Editor / Assistant Editor

I am a Japanese national, working and living in Australia. I studied Bachelor of Digital Media Production at Griffith University. After graduating, I worked as an assistant editor for Gulliver Media Australia where I worked on the feature documentary called The Lost Years – A Sea Turtle Odyssey which was aired on ABC and National Geographic channel, various corporate productions and promos. I also worked on Top Gear Australia Series 3 as an assistant editor and edited a few wedding videos. Most recently I have worked on Reptilian Battleground as an assistant editor, and on Croc Diary as an editor for BK Films.

I have experience in Avid Media Composer, Final Cut Pro, Adobe Photoshop, After Effects, and Illustrator. I can do Japanese-English (vice versa) translation for videos as well.

I always wanted to work in the media industry, and I discovered that I love working in post-production especially editing stage while I was studying. I feel great satisfaction when all the elements, footage, graphics, animation, music etc, fit all together to tell a great story.

I would love to work on feature films and more TV shows. I want to build up more experience and learn more to become an editor who can make all the production crews’ hard work into something even greater.
